Maps, not lists
A portfolio that is only a grid of cards is a filing cabinet. I want a place you can travel.
Lists are honest. They are also what every template already is. The work I care about has territory: a client site is larger than a weekend game because it had to live.
That is why the Atlas metaphor. Not fantasy. A Swedish survey sheet: coordinates, contour, legend. If the 3D never loads, the index still has to be a document worth reading.
Weight as land
Bigger projects become bigger countries. That is a joke and a measurement. Duration, risk, and whether a stranger paid for it all show up as scale. A recruiter who hates globes still gets a numbered rail.
